We hope you will find the information on this website to be helpful.  First Baptist Church of Academy is a church who is seeking to Love God and Love People.  There are no perfect people in our church but I hope you will find us to be growing in our faith daily.  Jesus Christ is the only hope we have for the forgiveness of sins and we are seeking to become more like Him everyday.  Give us a try and see for yourself.

Brent Boatwright has been privileged to serve the Lord as Pastor of First Baptist Church of Academy since November of 2003.  Brent has been married to Katy since 1999 and they have 3 boys (Brady, Blake, and Bradley).  Brent says, “What a blessing my family has found in this church family and we praise God for what He is doing among us.”  We hope you will join us one day!  God has a church for you, and we pray He will lead you to the church He desires for you.
